Returns & Refunds Policy

If you're looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order, where there has been an error or damaged product. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund via bank transfer.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:

  • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
  • Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging
  • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use

To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:

  • Get in touch with H&B. Email us at info@hairart.co.nz, or call us at 03 381 8939, and let us know of the issue.
  • If the item is incorrect or damaged, we will send you out a postage bag for you to return the product to us in.
  • We will then send out the correct or replacement product to you.
  • If you choose a refund instead of replacement, this refund will be processed via bank transfer within 7 working days of you contacting the salon (as long as there is sufficient contact from the customer.)

Please note:

  • We will process your return within 7 business days. Please note that there may be a delay in replacing products if we are waiting for stock to arrive. Once your refund/exchange is accepted, we will let you know of the timeframe to receive your replacement or refund.
  • If you receive the incorrect product, or it arrives damaged or defective, we will replace this (or refund you) for free. If you have a change of mind after opening/using the product, we will most likely not accept a return or exchange.
  • In the event of an allergic reaction to a product, please document the allergic reaction and get in touch with us as soon as possible. We may choose to exchange or offer a credit on your product if there is an allergic reaction.
